Hearing that his father—the lord of the earth—had gone to heaven, righteous Rāma spoke to Bharata words in harmony with dharma.

On hearing that his father, king Dasaratha, the lord of the world had attained heaven, righteous Rama said to Bharata in conformty with his rightful conduct.

Daśaratha

Even under personal loss, speech should align with dharma and satya—Rāma responds to tragedy with principled words rather than impulsive reaction.

Rāma learns of Daśaratha’s death and begins addressing Bharata in a dharma-guided manner.

Dharmaniṣṭhā (steadfastness in righteousness): Rāma’s commitment to right conduct in grief.
