Shloka 2.102.20

पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च (Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī)

आनयेङ्गुदिपिण्याकं चीरमाहर चोत्तरम्।जलक्रियार्थं तातस्य गमिष्यामि महात्मनः।।।।

ānaya iṅgudi-piṇyākaṃ cīram āhara cottaram |

jalakriyārthaṃ tātasya gamiṣyāmi mahātmanaḥ ||

“Bring the dried pulp (oil-cake) of the iṅgudī fruit, and fetch also an upper garment of bark. I shall go to perform the water-offering rites for my magnanimous father.”

I shall go and offer libations to my magnanimous father. Go and fetch the dried pulp of ingudi fruit and an upper garment made of bark.
