You will behold waterfalls streaming from the hills, delightful to the eye, and lovely forests resonant with the calls of peacocks.

You will see the beautiful forestareas with abundant fruits and roots, flowers in full bloom, herds of animals, flocks of quiet birds tanks and lakes filled with clean waters and shining with fully blossomed lotuses, resounding with waterducks and peacocks and waterfalls coming down the hills. Thus you will enjoy a delightful sylvan sight.

The verse frames the forest not as mere wilderness but as a dharmic space—where beauty, restraint, and sanctity support righteous living.

Sūtīkṣṇa completes his scenic description of the route and the forested regions Rama will traverse.

Rama’s readiness to undertake hardship without losing sensitivity to dharmic beauty; Sūtīkṣṇa’s compassionate forethought.
