Steady in battle and swift in deed, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa—both unwavering in the fray—lifted with grim joy that fearsome rākṣasa, roaring in combat, and hurled him into the pit.

Rama and Lakshmana, stable and firm, brave and quick, together lifted the body of Viradha who was fierce in battle and roaring and forcibly threw it into the pit with joy.

Kṣātra-dharma: rulers/warriors must protect society by confronting violent forces firmly and effectively.

Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa physically lift Virādha and throw him into the pit, bringing the struggle to its conclusion.

Courage and coordination: the brothers act together with steadiness and speed under pressure.
