The fatigue of the road—made heavy by great exertion—is troubling you both; and it is plain that Maithilī, Janaka’s daughter, is also yearning (for rest).
Both of you are tired due to the journey. It is evident that Sita, daughter of Janaka, is anxious (to rest).
Dharma includes compassion and appropriate care for travelers—recognizing fatigue and responding with hospitality and rest.
Agastya observes the travelers’ exhaustion and notes Sītā’s evident need for relief, setting up counsel about where they should stay.
Agastya’s empathy and attentiveness—traits central to ṛṣi-dharma and āśrama-hospitality.
