Kubera
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: celestial_realm
Sandhi Resolution Notes: tuṣṭosi → tuṣṭaḥ asi; ādikṛccaiva → ādikṛt ca eva; yakṣāṇāmadhipo → yakṣāṇām adhipaḥ.
Kubera is speaking, requesting a boon from the “Lord of the gods” to become the primordial founder and the overlord of all Yakṣas.
“Deveśa” means “Lord of the gods,” indicating the supreme divine authority who grants boons (often a major deity addressed with reverence).
It highlights the theme of divine grace and aspiration for rightful station: when a deity is pleased, a devotee seeks responsibility and authority—here, leadership over a class of beings—through a formally requested boon.
