चक्रे सर्वत्र कार्याणां मासि मासि निरीक्षणम् । हस्त्यश्वपोषणं चक्रे चारचक्रेक्षणं तथा ॥ २८ ॥
cakre sarvatra kāryāṇāṃ māsi māsi nirīkṣaṇam | hastyaśvapoṣaṇaṃ cakre cāracakrekṣaṇaṃ tathā || 28 ||
He instituted a monthly inspection of all administrative works everywhere; he also arranged for the upkeep of elephants and horses, and likewise for the supervision of the network of spies.
