Adhyaya 77 — Sanjna’s Withdrawal from Surya: The Birth of Yama and Yamuna, and the Emergence of Chhaya

इति संचिन्त्य बहुधा प्रजापतिसुता तदा ।

बहु मेने महाभागा पितृसंश्रयमेव सा ॥

Transliteration

iti saṃcintya bahudhā prajāpatisutā tadā / bahu mene mahābhāgā pitṛsaṃśrayameva sā

Translation

Thus, thinking in many ways, the daughter of Prajāpati, that fortunate lady, deemed taking refuge with her father to be the best course.
