Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
एवमाप्यायनं वत्स बहूनामिह बान्धवैः ।
श्राद्धं कुर्वदिभरन्नाम्बुबिन्दुक्षेपेण जायते ॥
evam āpyāyanaṃ vatsa bahūnām iha bāndhavaiḥ / śrāddhaṃ kurvadibharannāmbubindukṣepeṇa jāyate
Thus, dear child, in this way nourishment arises for many relatives here when śrāddha is being performed—even by the casting of food and by the sprinkling of drops of water.
