कुरुपाण्डवयोर्युद्धे वर्तमाने सुदारुणे ।

भावित्वाच्चैव कार्यस्य रणमध्ये विवेश सा ॥

Transliteration

kuru-pāṇḍavayor yuddhe vartamāne sudāruṇe | bhāvitvāc caiva kāryasya raṇamadhye viveśa sā ||

Translation

While the exceedingly dreadful battle between the Kurus and the Pāṇḍavas was in progress, and since that deed was destined to occur, she entered the midst of the battlefield.
