Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly
तस्य सर्वाणि कार्याणि सिद्धि यास्यन्ति पाण्डवा: । मत्प्रसादाच्च व: सर्वान् विराटनगरे स्थितान्
tasya sarvāṇi kāryāṇi siddhi yāsyanti pāṇḍavāḥ | matprasādāc ca vaḥ sarvān virāṭanagare sthitān |
Vaiśampāyana said: “O Pāṇḍavas, all his undertakings will surely reach success. And by my favor, all of you who are staying in the city of Virāṭa will be protected and prosper.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes confidence grounded in righteous support: when one is aligned with dharma and receives the blessing of a trustworthy authority, obstacles are overcome and rightful aims reach completion.
Vaiśampāyana reassures the Pāṇḍavas that their efforts will succeed and that, through his favor, they will remain safe and supported while residing in Virāṭa’s city during their concealed stay.
