पाशं धनुर्महाचक्रं विविधान्यायुधानि च । कुण्डलाभ्यां सुपूर्णाभ्यां कर्णाभ्यां च विभूषिता
pāśaṃ dhanurmahācakraṃ vividhāny āyudhāni ca | kuṇḍalābhyāṃ supūrṇābhyāṃ karṇābhyāṃ ca vibhūṣitā ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “She was adorned with a noose, a bow, and a great discus—indeed with weapons of many kinds—and her ears, well-filled and beautifully set with earrings, enhanced her splendor.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores that true authority and protection are grounded in auspicious, disciplined power: the weapons symbolize the capacity to restrain harm (pāśa), defend righteousness (dhanus), and uphold cosmic order and sovereignty (cakra).
Vaiśampāyana continues a vivid description of a radiant, goddess-like figure, highlighting her divine armaments and ornaments to convey majesty, protective strength, and sacred presence.
