त्रिगर्त-मात्स्य-संग्रामः

इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत विराटपर्वके अन्तर्गत गोहरणपर्वमें दक्षिणदिशाकी गौजओंको ग्रहण करनेके लिये युशर्मा आदिकी मत्स्यदेशपर चढ़ाईसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | virāṭam anvayuḥ pārthāḥ sahitāḥ kuru-puṅgavāḥ | catvāro bhrātaraḥ śūrāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ satya-vikramāḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: The Pārthas—foremost among the Kurus—set out together and followed after King Virāṭa. Those four brothers, the Pāṇḍavas, were heroic and true in prowess: they moved with great speed, still keeping their real identities concealed, yet fully prepared in the arts of war to meet the crisis that had arisen.
