दर्वीसंक्रमणं प्राप्य तीर्थ त्रैलोक्यपूजितम् । अश्वमेधमवाप्रोति स्वर्गलोक॑ च गच्छति,दर्वीसंक्रमण नामक त्रिभुवनपूजित तीर्थमें जानेसे तीर्थयात्री अश्वमेधयज्ञका फल पाता और स्वर्गलोकमें जाता है
darvīsaṅkramaṇaṁ prāpya tīrthaṁ trailokya-pūjitam | aśvamedham avāpnoti svargalokaṁ ca gacchati ||
Ghūlasthya said: “By reaching the sacred ford called Darvīsaṅkramaṇa—revered throughout the three worlds—a pilgrim attains the merit of an Aśvamedha sacrifice and thereafter goes to the heavenly realm.”
घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches that sincere pilgrimage to a highly revered tīrtha can confer merit comparable to great Vedic sacrifices, emphasizing accessible paths to spiritual reward and the sanctifying power of sacred places.
A speaker (Ghūlastya) is describing the greatness of a particular pilgrimage site, Darvīsaṅkramaṇa, stating that visiting it grants the fruit of an Aśvamedha and leads the pilgrim to heaven.
