युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
ब्रह्मावर्त ततो गच्छेद् ब्रह्म॒चारी समाहित: । अश्वमेधमवाप्रोति सोमलोकं च गच्छति
Brahmāvarta tato gacched brahmacārī samāhitaḥ | Aśvamedham avāpnoti somalokaṃ ca gacchati ||
Then, a disciplined brahmacārin, his mind collected and intent, should proceed to the sacred region of Brahmāvarta. By doing so, he attains merit equal to an Aśvamedha sacrifice and thereafter reaches Soma’s heavenly world (Soma-loka).
