Adhyāya 8 — Vidura’s Return and the Kaurava Counsel (Āraṇyaka-parva)

ततः संसर्गज: स्नेह: पुत्रस्य तव पाण्डवै: । यदि स्यात्‌ कृतकार्योड्द्य भवेस्त्वं मनुजेश्वर,मनुजेश्वर! वहाँ पाण्डवोंके संसर्गमें रहनेसे तुम्हारे पुत्रके प्रति उनके हृदयमें स्नेह हो जाय, तो तुम आज ही कृतार्थ हो जाओगे

tataḥ saṃsargajaḥ snehaḥ putrasya tava pāṇḍavaiḥ | yadi syāt kṛtakāryo ’dya bhaves tvaṃ manujeśvara ||

Then, if through continued association with the Pāṇḍavas your son were to develop genuine affection for them, you, O lord of men, would be fulfilled in your purpose even today.
