कामं च ते करिष्यामि यन्मां वक्ष्यसि बाहुक | विदर्भान्‌ यदि यात्वाद्य सूर्य दर्शयितासि मे,“बाहुक! यदि आज विदर्भदेशमें पहुँचकर तुम मुझे सूर्यका दर्शन करा सको तो तुम जो कहोगे, तुम्हारी वही इच्छा पूर्ण करूँगा”

Bṛhadāśva uvāca | kāmaṃ ca te kariṣyāmi yan māṃ vakṣyasi bāhuka | vidarbhān yadi yātvādya sūryaṃ darśayitāsi me ||

Bṛhadāśva said: “I will grant whatever you ask of me, O Bāhuka. If today you can reach Vidarbha and show me the sun there, then whatever you say—your wish shall be fulfilled.”
