Transmission of Akṣa-hṛdaya; Kali’s Exit and the Bibhītaka Refuge
अनुज्ञातं तु मां राज्ञा विजने कश्चिदब्रवीत् । ऋतुपर्णस्य पुरुषो बाहुको नाम नामत:,'परंतु ऋतुपर्णके यहाँ बाहुक नामधारी एक पुरुष है, उसने जब मैं राजासे विदा लेकर लौटने लगा, तब मुझसे एकान्तमें आकर तुम्हारी बातोंका उत्तर दिया
anujñātaṃ tu māṃ rājñā vijane kaścid abravīt | ṛtuparṇasya puruṣo bāhuko nāma nāmataḥ ||
Bṛhadaśva said: “After the king had granted me leave, someone spoke to me in private: ‘In Ṛtuparṇa’s service there is a man known by the name Bāhuka.’”
