विषमस्थेन मूढेन परिगभ्रष्टसुखेन च । यत् सा तेन परित्यक्ता तत्र न क्रोद्धुमहति,“वह पुरुष बड़े संकटमें था, सुखके साधनोंसे वंचित होकर किंकर्तव्यविमूढ हो गया था। ऐसी दशामें यदि उसने अपनी पत्नीका परित्याग किया है तो इसके लिये पत्नीको उसपर क्रोध नहीं करना चाहिये
Translation
That man was in grievous peril, cut off from the means of comfort, and, bewildered and deluded, did not know what ought to be done. In such a condition, if he abandoned his wife, she should not be angry with him.
