बृहृदश्च उवाच अभिज्ञाय सुदेवं त॑ं दमयन्ती युधिष्ठिर । पर्यपृच्छत तान्‌ सर्वान्‌ क्रमेण सुहृृद: स्वकान्‌,बृहदश्व मुनि कहते हैं--युधिष्ठिर! सुदेवको पहचानकर दमयन्तीने क्रमश: अपने सभी सगे-सम्बन्धियोंका कुशल समाचार पूछा

bṛhadaśva uvāca | abhijñāya sudevaṃ taṃ damayantī yudhiṣṭhira | paryapṛcchat tān sarvān krameṇa suhṛdaḥ svakān |

Bṛhadaśva said: “O Yudhiṣṭhira, recognizing that man as Sudeva, Damayantī then in due order inquired after the welfare of all her own well-wishing kinsmen.”
