दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
दमयन्ती तथा वाग्भिरभिनन्द्य कृताज्जलि: । तौ परस्परत: प्रीतौ दृष्टवा त्वग्निपुरोगमान्
damayantī tathā vāgbhir abhinandya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tau parasparataḥ prītau dṛṣṭvā tv agnipurogamān ||
Damayantī, with palms joined in reverence, greeted them with gracious words. Seeing the two of them mutually delighted, she then looked toward those who were proceeding with Agni in the lead—an auspicious sign that affirmed their concord and the rightness of their conduct.
