Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes that sincere worship and reverence toward the worthy (here addressed as “you”) is a direct means to siddhi—true attainment—so powerful that even the highest gods are described as achieving perfection through it.

Yudhiṣṭhira is offering exalted praise, stating that the thirty-three gods and celestial hosts, along with Upendra and Indra, have worshipped the addressed figure and attained siddhi—thereby magnifying that figure’s spiritual eminence and the efficacy of devotion.
