हि मय न हुक है ० - धनके लोभसे मनुष्य धनके रक्षककी हत्या कर डालते हैं। तृतीयो<थध्याय: युधिष्ठिरके द्वारा अन्नके लिये भगवान्‌ सूर्यकी उपासना और उनसे अक्षयपात्रकी प्राप्ति वैशम्पायन उवाच शौनकेनैवमुक्तस्तु कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिर: । पुरोहितमुपागम्य भ्रातृमध्येडब्रवीदिदम्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! शौनकके ऐसा कहनेपर कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठछिर अपने पुरोहितके पास आकर भाइयोंके बीचमें इस प्रकार बोले--

vaiśampāyana uvāca | śaunakenaivam uktas tu kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | purohitam upāgamya bhrātṛmadhye ’bravīd idam ||

Vaiśampāyana said: When Śaunaka had spoken thus, Yudhiṣṭhira, the son of Kuntī, approached his family priest and, in the midst of his brothers, addressed him in these words.
