स महात्मा महावेग: कुम्भकर्णस्य मूर्थनि

Transliteration

sa mahātmā mahāvegaḥ kumbhakarṇasya mūrdhani

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: That great-souled hero, surging with tremendous force, struck/pressed upon the head of Kumbhakarṇa—casting into relief the moral contrast between disciplined valor and the destructive might of a rākṣasa driven by brute power.
