द्रौपदी-शैब्यसंवादः — Draupadī’s Identification and Counsel on Hospitality
दुःखित: पादयोस्तस्य नेत्रजं जलमुत्सूजन् । उक्तवांश्व॒ नरव्याप्रो नैतदेवं भविष्यति
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: duḥkhitaḥ pādayos tasya netrajaṃ jalam utsṛjan, uktavān sa naravyāghro naitad evaṃ bhaviṣyati.
Vaiśampāyana said: Overcome with grief, he fell at his brother’s feet, letting the tears born of his eyes stream down. Then that tiger among men spoke, his voice choked with sorrow: “No—this will not turn out so.”
