सैनिकान्‌ मम सूतं च हयांश्व समवाकिरत्‌ । अचिन्तयन्तस्तु शरान्‌ वयं युध्याम भारत,मेरे सारथि, घोड़ों तथा सैनिकोंपर उसने भी बाणोंकी झड़ी लगा दी। भारत! उसके बाणोंकी बौछारको कुछ न समझकर मैं युद्धमें ही लगा रहा

sainikān mama sūtaṃ ca hayāṃś ca samavākirat | acintayantas tu śarān vayaṃ yudhyāma bhārata ||

Vāsudeva said: “He showered arrows upon my soldiers, my charioteer, and my horses as well. Yet, O Bhārata, treating that hail of arrows as of no consequence, we kept on fighting.”
