मार्कण्डेय उवाच ततः स राजा संहृष्ट: सिद्धे पक्षे महामना: । तमत्रिमब्रवीत् प्रीत: पूर्व येनाभिसंस्तुत:
Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ sa rājā saṁhṛṣṭaḥ siddhe pakṣe mahāmanāḥ | tam Atrim abravīt prītaḥ pūrvaṁ yenābhisaṁstutaḥ ||
Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then that king, delighted and great-souled, when his cause had been successfully established, spoke with affection to Atri—the very sage by whom he had earlier been praised and commended.
