आदित्यो दिवि देवेषु तमो नुदति तेजसा । तथैव नृपतिर्भूमावधर्मनुदते भूशम्,जैसे देवलोकमें सूर्य अपने तेजसे सम्पूर्ण अन्धकारका नाश करता है, उसी प्रकार राजा इस पृथ्वीपर रहकर अधर्मोंको सर्वथा हटा देता है
ādityo divi deveṣu tamo nudati tejasā | tathaiva nṛpatir bhūmāv adharma-nudate bhūśam ||
Sanatkumāra said: “As the Sun in heaven, among the gods, drives away darkness by its radiance, so too a king, dwelling upon the earth, forcefully dispels adharma.”
