Chapter 182

युधिछिर उवाच अहो बुद्धिमतां श्रेष्ठ शुभा बुद्धिरियं तव । विदितं वेदितव्यं ते कस्मात्‌ समनुपृच्छसि,युधिष्ठिर बोले--बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ! तुम्हारी यह बुद्धि बड़ी उत्तम है। तुम तो जानने योग्य वस्तुको जान चुके हो, फिर मुझसे क्यों पूछते हो?

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: aho buddhimatāṃ śreṣṭha śubhā buddhir iyaṃ tava | viditaṃ veditavyaṃ te kasmāt samanupṛcchasi ||

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Ah, best among the wise—your understanding is truly auspicious and excellent. You have already grasped what ought to be known; why, then, do you question me further?”
