Vaiśampāyana said: Having understood the intention in the mind of the queen, Bhīma—the bull among men, mighty in strength—set out from there, wishing to do what was dear to his beloved.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores sensitivity to another’s unspoken intention (abhiprāya) and the ethical value of acting deliberately to bring about what is beneficial and dear—here, fulfilling a beloved’s wish through timely, purposeful effort.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates that Bhīma perceives the queen’s (beloved wife’s) intention and, wanting to please her, departs from that place to carry out what she desires.
