Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
तस्य शड्खस्य शब्देन भीमसेनरवेण च । बाहुशब्देन चोग्रेण नदन्तीव गिरेगुहा:,उस समय बलवान पाण्डुनन्दन भीमने अपनी सारी शक्ति लगाकर बड़े जोरसे शंख बजाया और सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रतिध्वनित करते हुए ताल ठोंका। उस शंखकी ध्वनि, भीमसेनकी गर्जना और उनके ताल ठोंकनेके भयंकर शब्दसे मानो पर्वतोंकी कन्दराएँ गूँज उठीं
tasya śaṅkhasya śabdena bhīmasenaraveṇa ca | bāhuśabdena cogreṇa nadantīva gire guhāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: At the blast of that conch, together with Bhīmasena’s roar and the fierce sound of his arm-striking, the mountain-caves seemed to thunder.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights steadfast courage and the moral force of resolve: a righteous hero’s inner determination manifests outwardly as fearlessness, inspiring allies and warning adversaries without needing cruelty—strength disciplined by purpose.
Bhīma blows a conch with full power, roars, and strikes his arms in a fierce challenge; the combined noise reverberates so intensely that the mountain caves seem to echo like thunder.
