kāñcanaiḥ kadalīṣaṇḍair mandamārutakampitaiḥ | vījyamānam ivākṣobhyaṃ tīrāt tīravisarpibhiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Along the lake’s edge, clusters of golden banana trees, gently stirred by a mild breeze and spreading from bank to bank, seemed as though they were fanning that deep, unagitated reservoir.
