Vaiśaṃpāyana said: From the river that issued forth from the mountain, the untroubled waters flowed downward, as though the mountain’s garment had slipped and fallen. Nearby, healthy deer—unacquainted with fear—stood close by with mouthfuls of fresh grass, gazing toward Bhīmasena with curious eyes. At that time the splendid son of Vāyu, Bhīma of charming eyes, moved on in high spirits, as if at play, his great speed setting many clusters of creepers swaying; he was wholly intent on fulfilling the cherished wish of his beloved Draupadī.
