Arrogance, Boons, and Nimitta
एते कनखला राजन्नृषीणां दयिता नगा: । एषा प्रकाशते गड़ा युधिष्ठिर महानदी,युधिष्ठिर! ये कनखलकी पर्वत-मालाएँ हैं जो ऋषियोंको बहुत प्रिय लगती हैं। ये महानदी गंगा सुशोभित हो रही हैं
ete kanakhalā rājann ṛṣīṇāṃ dayitā nagāḥ | eṣā prakāśate gaṅgā yudhiṣṭhira mahānadī ||
Lomaśa said: “O King, these are the Kanakhala mountain-ridges, beloved of the sages. And here the great river Gaṅgā shines forth, O Yudhiṣṭhira.”
