Chapter 125
तस्मात् प्रसाद कुरु मे भवत्वेवं यथेच्छसि । “आपके द्वारा किया हुआ यह यज्ञका आयोजन मिथ्या न हो। आपने जो कर दिया वही उत्तम विधान हो। ब्रह्मर्षे! मैं जानता हूँ
tasmāt prasādaṁ kuru me bhavatv evaṁ yathecchasi |
Therefore, be gracious to me. Let it be exactly as you wish. (Lomāśa, having set forth his request and purpose, now submits himself to the sage’s will and seeks a favorable response.)
लोगमश उवाच
The verse models humility and deference to righteous authority: after stating one’s aim, one seeks grace (prasāda) and accepts the outcome as the elder/sage deems fit, aligning personal desire with dharma.
Lomāśa concludes his appeal by asking for the sage’s favor and explicitly yielding to the sage’s decision—“let it be as you wish”—after referencing the broader context of granting the Aśvinīkumāras eligibility for Soma and seeking similar welfare.
