युधिछिर उवाच भवाननुगतो रामं॑ जामदग्न्यं महाबलम्‌ । प्रत्यक्षदर्शी सर्वस्य पूर्ववृत्तस्य कर्मण:,युधिष्ठिरने पूछा--मुने! आप महाबली परशुरामजीके अनुगत भक्त हैं। उन्होंने पहले जो-जो कार्य किये हैं, उन सबको आपने प्रत्यक्ष देखा है

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: bhavān anugato rāmaṃ jāmadagnyaṃ mahābalam | pratyakṣadarśī sarvasya pūrvavṛttasya karmaṇaḥ ||

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “You are a devoted follower of Rāma Jāmadagnya, the mighty one. You have personally witnessed all of his deeds as they unfolded in the past.”
