ततः स्नुषां स भगवान प्रह्ृष्टो भुगुरब्रवीत्‌ | वरं वृणीष्व सुभगे दाता हास्मि तवेप्सितम्‌,भगवान्‌ भृगुने अत्यन्त प्रसन्न होकर अपनी पुत्रवधूसे कहा--“सौभाग्यवती बहू! कोई वर माँगो, मैं तुम्हारी इच्छाके अनुरूप वर प्रदान करूँगा”

tataḥ snuṣāṃ sa bhagavān prahṛṣṭo bhṛgur abravīt | varaṃ vṛṇīṣva subhage dātā hāsmi tavepsitam ||

Then the venerable Bhṛgu, filled with delight, addressed his daughter-in-law: “Fortunate one, choose a boon.
