Lomāśa said: The gods, their faces bright with joy, approached Tvaṣṭṛ and conveyed their purpose to him. Hearing their words, Tvaṣṭṛ—himself delighted—set about the task with disciplined care and deliberate effort.

The verse highlights that even divine aims are fulfilled through attentive listening, purity of conduct (prayataḥ), and sustained effort (prayatnāt). Joy is paired with discipline, suggesting that right outcomes depend on purposeful, careful action rather than mere intention.
Lomāśa narrates that the gods, pleased, go to the divine craftsman Tvaṣṭṛ and state their objective. Tvaṣṭṛ hears them and, sharing their delight, begins to carry out the requested work with focused preparation and effort.
