Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७
वैशग्पायन उवाच एवं प्रमुदित: पार्थ: कृष्णेन सहितस्तदा । वृतो दशार्हप्रवरै: पुनरायाद् युधिष्ठिरम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
evaṃ pramuditaḥ pārthaḥ kṛṣṇena sahitas tadā |
vṛto daśārha-pravaraiḥ punar āyād yudhiṣṭhiram ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Thus, Arjuna (son of Pṛthā), delighted at having his purpose fulfilled, set out again to Yudhiṣṭhira, accompanied by Kṛṣṇa and surrounded by the foremost among the Daśārha Yādavas. The verse underscores the ethical movement from private resolve to accountable counsel—returning to the rightful leader after securing support.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
Even when one succeeds in securing support, dharma requires returning to the rightful authority (Yudhiṣṭhira) for transparent counsel and coordinated action; personal initiative is completed by accountable leadership.
After achieving his intended objective, Arjuna—accompanied by Kṛṣṇa and escorted by leading Daśārha Yādavas—returns to Yudhiṣṭhira, signaling the consolidation of alliance and readiness for the coming conflict.
