Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७
बलदेव उवाच विदितं ते नरव्याप्र सर्व भवितुमरहति । यन्मयोक्तं विराटस्य पुरा वैवाहिके तदा
Baladeva uvāca: viditaṁ te naravyāghra sarvaṁ bhavitum arhati | yan mayoktaṁ Virāṭasya purā vaivāhike tadā ||
Baladeva said: O tiger among men, it is fitting that you should now know everything. What I had spoken earlier, at that time during King Virāṭa’s wedding festivities, has surely become known to you.
बलदेव उवाच
The verse emphasizes responsible knowledge and accountability: a worthy person should recognize and recall prior counsel and statements, especially those given in public or solemn contexts, and act with integrity based on what is already known.
Baladeva addresses a heroic listener, referring back to something he had said earlier during King Virāṭa’s wedding festivities, implying that the earlier statement has now become relevant and is (or should be) known to the addressee.
