प्रवारणं तु बालानां पूर्व कार्यमिति श्रुति: । तस्मात् प्रवारणं पूर्वमर्ह: पार्थो धनंजय:
Translation
“It is heard in the sacred teaching that one should first grant precedence to the younger. Therefore Pārtha—Dhanañjaya Arjuna—has the right to choose first.”
