न कक्षिन्नापनयते पुमानन्यत्र भार्गवात् । शेषसम्प्रतिपत्तिस्तु बुद्धिमत्स्वेव तिषतति
No man—save Bhārgava (Śukrācārya)—is one who never violates the rules of right conduct and statecraft. Therefore, what is past is past; the discernment of what duty yet remains rests upon the wise—upon men of understanding such as you.
