Adhyāya 20 — Rājadharma Argument for Paternal Inheritance and Timely Conciliation

पुनश्च वर्धितं राज्यं स्वबलेन महात्मभि: । छद्दानापद्तं क्षुद्रेर्धार्तराष्ट: ससौबलै:

“Then the great-souled Pāṇḍavas, by their own strength, established a new kingdom and made it flourish; but the petty sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, with Śakuni and the Saubalas, resorted to deceit in the dice-game and stole it away.”
