Educational Q&A

Even in a dharma-framed conflict, responsible leadership requires vigilance and accurate information. The verse highlights the ethical necessity of informed decision-making through legitimate intelligence, rather than impulsive action.

Yudhiṣṭhira begins by stating that his agents embedded in the Kaurava forces have brought him a report about events that occurred during the previous night, setting up the disclosure of the enemy’s deliberations.
