ततो दिवि महान् नाद: प्रादुरासीत्ू समन्ततः
tato divi mahān nādaḥ prādurāsīt samantataḥ | tasminn eva kāle mayā jamadagnikumāre vāyavyāstrasya prayogaḥ kṛtaḥ | bhārata paraśurāmaḥ guhūkāstreṇa mama tad astram upaśamayāmāsa |
Then, all around in the sky, a tremendous roar suddenly arose. At that very moment I launched the Vāyavya weapon against the son of Jamadagni. O Bharata, Paraśurāma quelled that missile of mine by means of the Guhūka weapon.
