अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ततः संदर्शने5तिष्ठ॑ं रामस्थातितपस्विन: । प्रगृह्ा शड्खप्रवरं तत: प्राधममुत्तमम्,तदनन्तर मैं अत्यन्त तपस्वी परशुरामजीकी दृष्टिके सामने खड़ा हुआ और अपने श्रेष्ठ शंखको हाथमें लेकर उसे जोर-जोरसे बजाने लगा
tataḥ sandarśane ’tiṣṭhaṃ rāmasthātitapaspinaḥ | pragṛhya śaṅkhapravaraṃ tataḥ prādhmam uttamam ||
Then I stood facing Rāma (Paraśurāma), that foremost ascetic. Taking up my excellent conch, I blew it with full force—openly declaring my resolve and readiness to meet him in combat, without shrinking from the dharma of a kṣatriya confronted by a challenge.
