Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
भीष्म उवाच तयो: संवदतोरेवं राजन् रामाम्बयोस्तदा । ऋषि: परमधर्मात्मा इदं वचनमत्रवीत्
bhīṣma uvāca | tayoḥ saṃvadator evaṃ rājan rāmāmbayoḥ tadā | ṛṣiḥ paramadharmātmā idaṃ vacanam abravīt |
Bhishma said: “O King, while Rama (Parashurama) and Amba were conversing in this manner, the sage Akṛtavraṇa—of supremely righteous spirit—then spoke these words.”
