Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
पाण्ड्रैश्वापि व्यजनैर्वीज्यमानो नराधिप । शुक्लवासा: सितोष्णीष: सर्वशुक्लविभूषण:
pāṇḍraiś cāpi vyajanaīr vījyamāno narādhipa | śuklavāsāḥ sitoṣṇīṣaḥ sarvaśuklavibhūṣaṇaḥ ||
O king, I was fanned on either side with white chowries; clad in white garments, wearing a white turban, and adorned with ornaments all of white. Thus, in full royal splendor, I stood marked by the signs of sovereignty and honor.
