निविष्टान् पाण्डवांस्तत्र ज्ञात्वा मित्राणि भारत । अभिससुर्यथादेशं सबला: सहवाहना:,भारत! पाण्डवोंने कुरुक्षेत्रमें जाकर अपनी सेनाका पड़ाव डाल दिया है, यह जानकर उनसे मित्रता रखनेवाले बहुत-से राजा अपनी सेना और सवारियोंके साथ उनके पास, जहाँ वे ठहरे थे, आये
Translation
O Bhārata, when it was known that the Pāṇḍavas had gone to Kurukṣetra and pitched their camp there, many kings who were bound to them in friendship came to the place where they were staying, bringing their forces with chariots and mounts.
