Krishna on the Kauravas’ Rejection of Counsel; Pandava Readiness Ordered
शिबिराणि महाहणि राज्ञां तत्र पृथक् पृथक् । विमानानीव राजेन्द्र निविष्टानि महीतले
śibirāṇi mahāhaṇi rājñāṁ tatra pṛthak pṛthak | vimānānīva rājendra niviṣṭāni mahītale ||
Vaiśampāyana said: There, the great encampments of the kings stood each in its own separate place, O best of kings—settled upon the earth like celestial vimānas.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined organization and the grandeur of royal power; ethically, it frames the impending war as a moment of immense responsibility where rulers’ choices will carry heavy dharmic consequences.
